PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Just Whymer (ranked 122 p4p, 185 weight class) and Jesse Kilpatrick (ranked 21 p4p, 31 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kilpatrick working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Whymer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kilpatrick sprawling to the canvas! Kilpatrick rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Whymer finish him?!
