Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clive Staples Lewis (ranked 19248 p4p, 24236 weight class) and Leon Chaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leon Chaster is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Lewis's jab looks to have found its range, popping Chaster under the eye.

Lewis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lewis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lewis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Chaster gets back to half guard.

Lewis scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Lewis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Lewis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Chaster is in trouble now - Lewis has advanced to mount!

Chaster defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lewis.

Lewis is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chaster has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The referee warns Chaster that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chaster switches off momentarily and Lewis cracks him with a monster right hand! Chaster topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Lewis dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Lewis!
