Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Somebody (ranked 2164 p4p, 1465 weight class) and Marco Paris (ranked 314 p4p, 223 weight class). Somebody's entrance music is America, Fuck Yeah!. A fine choice. Marco Paris told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Paris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Somebody sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Paris somewhat.
A quick step to the side and Somebody tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
A low kick lands for Somebody.
Paris throws a lazy uppercut
and Paris takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Paris clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Paris tightens his grip and picks Somebody up, before dumping him to the ground. Somebody manages to land in guard.
Paris is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Somebody wants to sweep here but Paris controlling him for the moment.

Somebody is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Somebody has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Paris has passed into side control.
Somebody tries to bench press Paris off him but Paris keeps the position.
Somebody is not content to let Paris control the position.
Somebody is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Paris is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Paris lands a couple of good shots and Somebody has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
