Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Burns (ranked 70 p4p, 248 weight class) and Pablo Torres (ranked 8 p4p, 34 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Lovely Jubbly. Pablo Torres told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.

Torres throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Burns sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Torres throws a hook to the side of Burns's head but Burns sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Torres misses the jab.
Burns gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Gavin Burns has been cut.
Torres takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Torres looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pablo Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torres sends Burns crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Torres is motioning to the referee to let Burns up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Burns is rocked!
Burns seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Burns ducks under a wild hook from Torres.
Oh Burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burns misses with a body shot.

Burns seems to have got his legs back now.
Torres lands a jab to Burns's midsection.
Torres throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Torres throws a hook but Burns avoids it easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Burns misses its target.
Burns throws a looping overhand right but Torres ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Torres pounces like a tiger and cracks Burns with a vicious hook! Burns is down but not out! Torres follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pablo Torres!
