Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lemmy Adam (ranked 2175 p4p, 567 weight class) and Massi Vass (ranked 268 p4p, 71 weight class). Lemmy Adam could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Massi Vass's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lemmy Adam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Massi Vass!

Adam uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vass.
Adam ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
As Vass tries to get set, Adam tries to push him back and clinch up but Vass manages to avoid the attempt.
Vass stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vass wants it to stay on the feet.

Adam shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vass manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Adam throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Vass escapes and throws Adam's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Adam fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vass looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Adam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vass takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Vass has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The referee calls for Vass to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adam swings wildly with an uppercut but Vass uses good head movement to avoid it.

Adam can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vass controls the pace.

Adam darts in and clinches Vass up against the cage.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Vass in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
