Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Pariscini (ranked 1048 p4p, 740 weight class) and Xain Zhao (ranked 164 p4p, 117 weight class). Zhao comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I love Friday kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Eddie Pariscini has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Zhao takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pariscini throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zhao sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pariscini misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pariscini misses with a straight left.
Zhao stuffs the takedown attempt from Pariscini. Pariscini gets slowly back to his feet.
Zhao throws out a counter right but Pariscini avoids it with no problem.
A combination from Pariscini does no damage.
Zhao swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Zhao moves away from the strike by Pariscini.
Pariscini throws a hook but Zhao blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zhao tries to clinch there but Pariscini circles away.
Pariscini throws a low kick but it's checked well by Zhao.
Zhao looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Pariscini swings for the body but Zhao moves out of range.
Zhao takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Pariscini throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pariscini definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pariscini throws out a loose jab but Zhao uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zhao chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pariscini can pounce on him.
Zhao bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Zhao throws out a counter right but Pariscini avoids it with no problem.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Zhao checks a leg kick.

Pariscini fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zhao sprawls well initially but Pariscini persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Zhao slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Zhao is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Pariscini trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zhao's guard.
Zhao is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Pariscini is sitting in close to Zhao's body. Zhao has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pariscini is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pariscini is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zhao.
