Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Scott McRay!

McRay keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Marx fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

McRay cracks Marx with an uppercut from hell and Marx crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of McRay's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Marx is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marx wants to stand up but McRay is controlling him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McRay wanted to stand there but Marx had control of the position.

McRay wants to stand and escape but instead Marx has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McRay can do anything to dispel that myth.
Marx won't allow McRay to get back to his feet.
McRay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marx. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McRay wants to stand up but Marx is controlling him.

McRay manages to escape and get back to his feet.
McRay moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
McRay keeps the fight on the outside.
Karl Marx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marx shoots in for a takedown but McRay shows good takedown defense.
McRay is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Marx rushes McRay and presses him up against the cage.

McRay looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Marx drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

McRay wants to counter with a clinch but Marx pushes him away.
Marx uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McRay.
McRay looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Marx sets himself, and McRay steps forward looking for the clinch! Marx avoids it this time.
Marx is trying hard to land a takedown here. McRay sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McRay tries to counter by closing the distance.

McRay darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
McRay circles away from the clinch attempt.
Marx fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McRay keeps the fight on the outside.

Marx is breathing heavily.
Are you kidding me?! McRay ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Marx clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
