PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Ragout Mendy (ranked 1209 p4p, 22664 weight class) and Chuck Lee (ranked 197 p4p, 698 weight class). Lee has chosen Titties and Coke "subliminal messages" as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pierre Ragout Mendy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 16 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chuck Lee!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.

Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mendy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mendy tries to get out of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee wants to stand and escape but instead Mendy has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Lee is looking for a sweep. Mendy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Lee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mendy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lee has Mendy in his guard.


Mendy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mendy has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.
