Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osama Akharraz (ranked 1407 p4p, 2184 weight class) and Eliott Leighton (ranked 199 p4p, 291 weight class). Leighton comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bad to the Bone - George Thorogood kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

It looks like Eliott Leighton has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Akharraz cracks Leighton with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Leighton tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Akharraz pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Leighton is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Osama Akharraz!
