Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Russ Smith (ranked 2208 p4p, 2503 weight class) and Jon Snitch (ranked 315 p4p, 356 weight class). Snitch comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Wanna Rock kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jon Snitch is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 26 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snitch!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Snitch tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Snitch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Snitch sees it coming and avoids it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Snitch closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Snitch is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Snitch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.

Snitch stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken.
