Victor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Marui is trying to defend but Victor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Victor is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Marui defends it well.
Marui wants to get back to full guard.

Victor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marui is just riding it out for now. Victor eventually gives up the hold.

Marui has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
