Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Headden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is MANY MEN. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Headden loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
Tiger Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones slips under a jab from Headden.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Headden.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Headden circles away quickly and effectively.
Headden throws a big shot that misses.

Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Headden was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.

Headden walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jones cracks Headden with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Headden misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tiger Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Headden.

Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Headden.

Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Headden throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Jones counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jones avoids the head kick by Headden.

Headden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Headden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones swings for the body but Headden moves out of range.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Headden uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Headden is just out of range.
Headden has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Headden there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jones scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Headden shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Headden shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Headden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
