The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots for a takedown but West saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts West as he jumps to the side.
Silva fails with the takedown.
Taribo West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Silva.
Silva darts in looking for a takedown but West gets double underhooks and turns Silva into the cage.
Silva ducks under a wild hook from West.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

West sends Silva crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! West is motioning to the referee to let Silva up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

West closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Silva out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
