Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hjalmar Klason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Kolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klason comes into the arena with (Hed) Pe - Raise Hell blaring out of the sound system. Hjalmar Klason could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Aleksander Kolov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hjalmar Klason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksander Kolov!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolov misses with a wild combination.
Klason drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kolov has momentary wrist control but Klason slips an elbow through the middle.
Klason with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Kolov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kolov wants to sweep here but Klason controlling him for the moment.
Kolov lands an upkick as Klason stands over him.
Klason stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kolov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Klason is in close to Kolov's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kolov looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Klason chips away with some ground and pound.
Klason trying to control but Kolov is working from the bottom.
Kolov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Klason. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kolov throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Kolov is striking but Klason is not phased and passes to half guard.
Klason looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kolov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kolov is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Klason scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kolov trying to hold on to Klason's head to control him but Klason postures up.
Klason content to control rather than advance.
Klason scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Kolov throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Kolov is trying to stand.
Klason has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Klason lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Klason prevents Kolov from improving his position.
Kolov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Klason.
Kolov punching from the bottom.
Klason thows a huge punch but Kolov dodges it nicely.
Klason is nestled in close to Kolov, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Klason lands with a punch from half guard.
Kolov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Klason drops an elbow to the side of Kolov's head.
Kolov is rocked!
Klason lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kolov quite badly. Kolov pulls Klason in close trying to recover. Klason postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kolov on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kolov doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hjalmar Klason!
