Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Roque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Knapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roque comes to the cage accompanied by Rage Against The Machine - Know Your Enemy. Knapp has chosen Chevelle - The Red as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roque tries to clinch but Knapp is having none of it.

Roque scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Knapp is working to avoid the ground and pound but Roque connects with a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knapp is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Roque has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Knapp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roque. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The ground and pound from Roque seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Knapp tries to improve position but can't.
Knapp prevents Roque from improving position.
Roque trying to control the action but Knapp is working from the bottom.

Roque looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Roque wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Knapp, who protects the arm well.

Roque is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Knapp is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Roque has hold of Knapp's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Knapp seems comfortable defending it but Roque has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Knapp is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Knapp is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Roque couldn't care less - he's delighted!
