The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flannel throws a series of punches but Stewert avoids them all with ease.
Stewert tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Flannel swivels and escapes.
Flannel's corner calls for a 1-2. Flannel obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Stewert shoots for a takedown but Flannel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Flannel throws a right and a left that both miss.
Flannel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A decent looking cross lands there for Flannel.
Flannel connects with a crisp jab.

Stewert is rocked!
Flannel looks to land a combination but Stewert avoids it well.
Oh Stewert is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Stewert.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Flannel wants to get back to his feet.
Stewert seems to have got his legs back now.

Stewert is trying to get an arm triangle but Flannel is defending well.
Stewert trying to control the position but Flannel is working away.

Stewert has hold of Flannel's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Flannel tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Stewert cranks the arm and Flannel screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Flannel, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
