The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter throws a right hand that Latu ducks under and follows up with a left that Latu also avoids with ease.
Potter misses with a leg kick.
Latu lands a head kick that stumbles Potter and the fighters go to the mat.
It looks like Carter Potter has been cut.
Latu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Latu wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Potter's closed guard. He's half up but Potter has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Potter pivots and extends the arm, Latu falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Potter! Well done that man!
