With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Victor Putznaya!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putznaya misses with a hook. London ducked under it nicely.
Putznaya drops his hands momentarily and London takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
London throws a series of strikes that have Putznaya backpedaling.

London shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Putznaya manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
London would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Putznaya throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Putznaya wants to sweep but no luck.
Putznaya keeping moving, preventing London from controlling successfully.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Putznaya can do anything to dispel that myth.

Putznaya wants to sweep here but London controlling him for the moment.
Putznaya is striking from the bottom but London uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Putznaya wants to get back to full guard but London has mounted him!
Putznaya is trying to escape the mount.
Putznaya manages to regain half guard. Good work.
London wants to stand up but Putznaya has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Putznaya throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
London blocks the strikes from Putznaya.
London prevents Putznaya from improving his position.
Putznaya trying to get back to full guard but London takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
London prevents Putznaya from getting the reversal.
Putznaya is trying to stand.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
London postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Putznaya looks a forlorn figure.
Putznaya has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Putznaya has hold of London's leg, trying to break free but it's let London lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Putznaya is turning an unusual color here… he's out! London throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
