PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akira Kazama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Harlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cody Harlow struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The key to victory for Akira Kazama has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazama scores with a three punch combo!

Kazama drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Harlow preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kazama wants to control from the top but Harlow keeps moving.

Harlow throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kazama escapes and throws Harlow's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kazama bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Harlow is not content to let Kazama control the position.

I would just about give that final round to Cody Harlow.
Well Kazama has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
