Doc has chosen Heat - The Jesus and Mary Chain as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Oppolla Doc has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doc lands a body shot.
Nice combo by Doc! Oh, that's hurt him - Galvoa falls to the canvas and Doc follows him into side control.

It looks like Marcelo Galvoa has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Galvoa is trying to control Doc's posture but Doc avoids it.
Doc tries to stand but Galvoa is controlling his head.
You can see the frustration on Galvoa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Galvoa manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Doc seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Doc wants to take a breather but Galvoa is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Doc missing with a left hand there. Galvoa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Galvoa tries for a takedown but Doc sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Doc doesn't manage to clinch there - Galvoa circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Doc counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Doc lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Galvoa falls backwards - clearly groggy! Doc dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
