PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Heywood Jablowme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Disis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jablowme might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to hells bells. The crowd seem to be enjoying Disis's choice of entrance music: Polly Jean Harvey - Angry Johnny. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jablowme throws a right and a left that Disis avoids nicely.
Disis leaves Jablowme with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jablowme misses with a two punch combination.
Disis fails with a takedown attempt.
Jablowme connects with a looping right hand.

Jablowme comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Disis shoots in and bounces Jablowme off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Disis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jablowme was covering up waiting for the punch and Disis finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jablowme has his foot on Disis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Disis works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jablowme will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Disis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
