The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohrruebe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kimura.
Kimura will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mohrruebe doesn't manage to clinch there - Kimura circles away.
Kimura avoids the head kick by Mohrruebe.
Mohrruebe throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Kimura scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Kimura tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kimura has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mohrruebe is looking for a sweep.

Kimura wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mohrruebe, who protects the arm well.

Kimura has an Americana. Mohrruebe didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kimura is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kimura hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
