Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sun Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kato might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to STILL BALLIN. On his way into the cage it seems that Sun Kato has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sun Kato seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesus Rios!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Rios coming out on top.
Kato throws the kick towards the body but Rios avoids it.
Kato throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kato throws a shot from downtown. Rios moves away and avoids it.
Rios looks to land a right hand but Kato moved out of range.
Kato feints and then cracks Rios's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rios down.
Kato throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rios throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kato throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kato lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kato wants to slow Rios down by chopping away at his legs.
Kato misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rios throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Kato counters with a nice leg kick.
Rios throws a leg kick but Kato checks it.
Kato slips a jab and a cross from Rios.
Kato tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kato throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sun Kato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kato throws a sloppy head kick and Rios moves out of range easily.
Rios connects with a right hand. Kato shakes it off.
Rios throws a leg kick
and Kato counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kato.
Kato goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rios defending well as Kato loads up on a big left hand.
Rios on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kato. Kato obviously looking to wear him down.
Rios thows a leg kick but Kato checks it
and Kato counters with an outside leg kick.
Kato fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rios.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kato feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rios's calf.
Rios looks gassed!
Kato lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kato lands with a hook. Rios tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kato.
Kato connects with a solid leg kick.

Kato throws a shot to the body.
Rios takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kato bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rios's head backwards.
Rios throws a sloppy body shot
and Kato counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Kato looks at the referee who does nothing so Kato lands a crushing right that sends Rios to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sun Kato!
