Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between fabio jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to yes. Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Uncle Murda- Summertime shootouts. Rob Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones misses with a wild combination.
jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says jones as he avoids it easily.
jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but jones circles away.
jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
jones throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease.
Gracie blocks a jab.
Gracie throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Rob Gracie has been cut.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
fabio jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Gracie.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with jones but jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.

jones is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gracie's half guard.

Gracie wants to improve his position but jones is controlling well.

jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gracie is pushing jones's head away, looking to escape. jones manages to hold on to the position though.
