Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Overbury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Undah Takah!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Overbury does no damage.
Thomas Overbury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overbury fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Overbury misses with a few strikes there.
Takah rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Overbury moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Overbury blocks a jab.
Overbury connects with a crisp jab.


It looks like Undah Takah has been cut.
Takah punishes Overbury's body with a nice straight punch.
Overbury fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Overbury scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Overbury gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Takah cracks Overbury with a solid left hand.
Takah throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Takah throws a strike but Overbury rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Takah wants to stand and escape but Overbury is having none of it.
Overbury pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Takah is keeping the position for now.
Takah is trying to control the position but Overbury postures up.
Overbury trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Takah lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Overbury!
Takah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Overbury. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Takah lands a big shot there that rocks Overbury but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Takah lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Overbury hang on?
Takah landing strikes, looking to finish!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Takah cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Takah prevents Overbury from getting the reversal.
Overbury on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Overbury tries to get out of the position.
The referee warns Overbury that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Takah with the ground and pound from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Overbury is squirming around, avoiding Takah's attempts to control the action.

Takah goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Overbury turns into him and now he's in Takah's guard.
Takah working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Overbury.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Overbury preventing the sweep.
Overbury slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Takah keeping moving, preventing Overbury from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Takah throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Takah controls Overbury momentarily but Overbury frees himself.
Takah is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Undah Takah dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Takah shoots in looking for a takedown. Overbury tries to sprawl out of it but Takah keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Overbury manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Overbury throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Takah counters with a three punch combo that has Overbury backing up. Overbury nods at Takah to acknowledge the strikes.
Overbury swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Takah counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Overbury has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Undah Takah!
