Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howard Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Schuit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Howard Duck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Schuit!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duck throws a shot from downtown. Schuit moves away and avoids it.
Duck misses with an uppercut.
Schuit shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Duck as he jumps to the side.
Howard Duck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Duck.
Duck keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Duck misses with a jab, cross combination.
Duck moves in looking to clinch but Schuit pushes him off.
Duck lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schuit circles away quickly and effectively.
Schuit misses with a series of wild punches.
Duck misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schuit uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Duck.

Schuit changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duck tries to avoid it but Schuit manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duck to the ground. Duck escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Howard Duck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Schuit.

Duck leaves Schuit with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Duck throws a nice looking combination but Schuit bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Duck is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Schuit's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

That was a close second round but I would say that Howard Duck will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Martin Schuit.
I think Schuit has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
