Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Davis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Who - Baba O'Riley. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Rex Richards!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis scores with a jab.
Davis doesn't manage to clinch there - Richards circles away.
Richards shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Davis looks to score with a jab to the body but Richards is just out of range.
Richards tries to bum rush Davis with a series of wild strikes but Davis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A telegraphed right hand from Richards misses the target.
Davis avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Davis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Richards gets caught flat footed, as Davis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Richards looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Davis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Richards knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Davis scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Richards to see if he's OK.
Davis is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Richards will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Richards pushes Davis off looking to stand but Davis dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

BOOM! Davis connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Davis is trying to control the action in half guard but Richards is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Richards is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Davis pulls his head out easily.
Richards is staying active underneath Davis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Davis is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Davis winds up and cracks Richards with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Davis passes to side control.

Richards is looking to regain half guard here but Davis keeps moving and retains side control.
Richards is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Davis lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Richards down.

Richards takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Davis in side control lands a decent elbow.

Davis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Richards has escaped the position, nice work there.
Davis lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Richards is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Davis's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Davis works his way into full mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Davis here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Davis fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Richards is out of range.
Richards takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Davis throws a one two combo.
Richards swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Davis counters with a nice body kick.
Rex Richards is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Richards throws a solid leg kick but Davis takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Richards.
Davis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Davis scores with a jab. Richards acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Davis works the jab nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Davis lands a jab.
Richards throws out a loose jab but Davis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Richards is breathing heavily.
Davis cracks Richards with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Richards tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Davis pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Richards is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Craig Davis!
