Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tatu Tikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tikki comes into the arena with Ratatat - Loud Pipes blaring out of the sound system. Aoki has chosen Handlebars as his entrance music. Lyoto Aoki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lyoto Aoki!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tikki throws a head kick but Aoki moves out of range.
A punch combination from Tikki misses.
Tikki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aoki.
Aoki clinches.
Aoki breaks the clinch.
Aoki has managed to clinch.
Tikki tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Aoki just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tikki dodges an elbow strike from Aoki.
Tikki changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Aoki fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Aoki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tikki.
Tikki works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Tikki tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Aoki just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tatu Tikki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Aoki. Tikki does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tikki throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Tikki rushes Aoki with punches - Aoki moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Aoki goes down! Tikki follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
