And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leigh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Leigh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Leigh throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Leigh wants to clinch.
Leigh moves in looking to clinch but Mitchell pushes him off.

Mitchell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Mitchell seems to be looking for submissions.
Leigh trying to control from the bottom.
Mitchell wants to pass to mount but Leigh is defending the position.
Leigh wants to improve his position but Mitchell is controlling well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Leigh lands a head kick!

It looks like James Mitchell has been cut.
Leigh lands a head kick. Mitchell smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Mitchell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leigh circles away quickly and effectively.

Leigh lands a head kick. Mitchell smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Leigh goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Mitchell is rocked!
Mitchell blocks a head kick by Leigh.
Oh Mitchell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Leigh throws a head kick but Mitchell moves out of range.
Mitchell seems to have got his legs back now.
Leigh tries to close the distance and clinch but Mitchell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Leigh lands with a kick to the temple. Mitchell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leigh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mitchell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mitchell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mitchell keeps the fight on the outside.
Whack! Leigh lands a heavy head kick that drops Mitchell. The ref tackles Leigh to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mitchell was done.
