The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Virtanen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kozlov.
Virtanen looks to land a left hand but Kozlov moved out of range nicely.

Virtanen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kozlov blocks it with crossed arms.
Virtanen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kozlov throws a sloppy head kick and Virtanen moves out of range easily.
Virtanen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Virtanen looks to land a body kick but Kozlov moved away.
Virtanen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kozlov manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Virtanen throws a hook but Kozlov blocks it.
Kozlov blocks a head kick by Virtanen.

Virtanen works the jab nicely.
It looks like Wladamir Kozlov has been cut.
Kozlov defending well as Virtanen loads up on a big left hand.

Virtanen tries a head kick but it misses.

Abdullah Virtanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Virtanen counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Virtanen looking to finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Virtanen loads up on a big left hand. Kozlov felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Virtanen looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kozlov can't hide his disappointment, as Virtanen celebrates the victory.
