Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kova Paska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Caschera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caschera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Crimson King by Demons & Wizards limited edition kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paska drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Caschera looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Paska passes into side control.
Caschera is looking for a sweep.
Caschera is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Paska has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Caschera is looking to regain half guard here but Paska keeps moving and retains side control.

Paska's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Caschera is looking for a sweep.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Paska in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Paska wants to control but Caschera is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caschera is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Paska trying to control the position but Caschera is working away.
Caschera is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Paska is controlling him well.

Paska has hold of Caschera's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Caschera tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Paska cranks the arm and Caschera screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Caschera, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
