Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by The Bravery - time won't let me go. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richard Richardson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richardson tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richardson to the ground. Richardson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Richardson lands with an uppercut that bounces Gracie off the cage and back into rage.
Richardson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gracie. Gracie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Richardson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Richardson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Richardson tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gracie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Richardson smiles and moves away.

Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Richardson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Richardson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gracie is looking for a triangle but Richardson pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Richardson is posturing up here but Gracie has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Richardson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Richardson has to tap! Slick submission there by Gracie!
