The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bravo.

Bravo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.
Johnson misses with a double jab.
Johnson tries to clinch but Bravo is having none of it.
Richard Bravo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Bravo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson tries for a takedown but Bravo circles away easily
and Bravo counters with a takedown into side control.
Bravo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Johnson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bravo's guard! Nice work there by Johnson!

Johnson won't allow Bravo to sweep him here.
Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Bravo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bravo manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Bravo's guard.
Johnson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bravo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Johnson, into his guard.
Bravo has gone for a leg lock! Johnson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bravo's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bravo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Johnson uses it to pass to side control.
Johnson misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Johnson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Bravo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bravo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bravo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Johnson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bravo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Johnson's back instead.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Bravo.

Bravo is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Bravo is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Johnson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Johnson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Bravo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Johnson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Johnson!

and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. Bravo fights it but they end up in guard.

Johnson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bravo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bravo has escaped and now he's on top!

Bravo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Johnson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Johnson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Johnson!
Bravo tries to bench press Johnson off him but Johnson keeps the position.
Bravo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Johnson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Bravo is looking to reverse the position.
Johnson in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Bravo is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
