Muralitharan comes to the cage accompanied by The Sri Lankan National Anthem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muralitharan moves away from the strike by Schwein.
Schwein dodges the punch combination from Muralitharan.
Nice defenses there by Schwein.
Muralitharan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Muralitharan throws a lazy right hand but Schwein sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Muralitharan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Schwein catches Muralitharan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Muralitharan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Schwein lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Schwein throws and low kick but Muralitharan moves out of range easily.
Muralitharan's corner calls for a 1-2. Muralitharan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Muralitharan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Schwein cracks a nice hook into Muralitharan's ribs.
Muralitharan tries to clinch but Schwein is having none of it.
Decent striking displayed by Schwein there.

The fight stays on the outside here - Muralitharan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Muralitharan checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Schwein tried to score with a low kick but Muralitharan checks it.
No luck for Muralitharan with that takedown attempt.
Muralitharan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Schwein cracks Muralitharan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Muralitharan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Schwein finish him?

Muralitharan is rocked!
Schwein lands with a big right hook that stumbles Muralitharan - he's out on his feet here! Schwein follows up with another monster hook that separates Muralitharan from consciousness! Muralitharan falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Schwein stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
