Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Happy Tom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cheetoh Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom comes to the cage accompanied by Turbonegro - Wasted Again. Ortiz has chosen The Cheese Song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Happy Tom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cheetoh Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tom blocks the body kick.
Ortiz walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tom checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Tom misses with a head kick.

Tom gets the takedown into side control.
Ortiz misses with an elbow from the bottom.

Tom tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tom has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ortiz can't do much from the bottom here.
Ortiz tries to buck Tom off but Tom is having none of it.

Tom goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ortiz rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tom's guard! Nice work there by Ortiz!

Tom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ortiz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ortiz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tom is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Tom is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ortiz is aware though and is defending well.
Tom looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ortiz is one step ahead there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ortiz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tom has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ortiz has managed to get both his arms back between Tom's legs - danger averted.

Tom has his foot on Ortiz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ortiz works his way back into a safe position though.

Tom is breathing heavily.
Ortiz is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Tom is trying to control the position but Ortiz postures up.
Tom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tom is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ortiz pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ortiz has Tom up against the cage in a clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tom misses with a punch on the inside.
Ortiz pushes off an throws an elbow but Tom leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Tom wants the takedown. Ortiz is fighting it off but Tom persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ortiz's guard against the cage.
Ortiz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ortiz connects with a nice short shot to Tom's temple.
Tom manages to get to full guard.

Tom is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ortiz landing with the ground and pound.

Happy Tom dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Tom takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ortiz misses with a straight left.
Ortiz shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ortiz looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Tom checks the leg kick nicely there.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tom checks a leg kick.
Ortiz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tom.
Ortiz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tom pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ortiz sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Ortiz rushes Tom and presses him up against the cage.
Tom connects with a knee to the head.
Ortiz misses with an elbow over the top.

Tom gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Tom passes Ortiz's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tom passes to side control.
Ortiz is breathing heavily.
Ortiz is letting Tom control him for a moment.

Tom swings around for an armbar but Ortiz sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tom's guard.
Tom wants to sweep here but Ortiz controlling him for the moment.
Tom is trying to keep Ortiz in close.

Tom looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ortiz has picked Tom up and slammed him! Tom can't keep hold of the triangle and Ortiz manages to pass to side control!
Tom takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Ortiz is nestled in close to Tom, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Tom is looking to improve his position.
Tom is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ortiz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ortiz's back!
Ortiz trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Tom seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Ortiz's chin but Ortiz turns very nicely into Tom's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Ortiz.

Tom is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ortiz off and has taken his back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tom is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ortiz is defending well though. Tom let's go of the attempt for now.

Tom has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ortiz doesn't defend quickly enough and Tom has managed to lock this one up! Can Ortiz escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tom on a fantastic submission victory.
