The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to de liver by Edwards. Beautiful body shot.
Edwards thuds his right hand into Zahlam's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Ahlam Zahlam has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zahlam takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Zahlam is breathing heavily.
Edwards fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Edwards lands a big uppercut and Zahlam crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zahlam looks OK. Edwards waves Zahlam back to his feet!
Zahlam is rocked!
Zahlam switches off momentarily and Edwards cracks him with a monster right hand! Zahlam topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Edwards dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Edwards!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Blake Edwards!
