The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov shoots in for a takedown but McKendrick shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McKendrick throws a hook but Ivanov blocks it.
McKendrick lands an overhand right.
McKendrick throws and low kick but Ivanov moves out of range easily.
McKendrick wants to slow Ivanov down by chopping away at his legs.

Ivanov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McKendrick napping and manages to drive through into side control!
