Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Diefenbaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout has chosen Slaughterhouse-Wack MC's as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Edward Stout is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Diefenbaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Stout!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stout doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Diefenbaker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Stout gets the takedown into side control.
Stout working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diefenbaker gets back to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diefenbaker is trying is best to control the position here.

Stout is looking for a kimura but Diefenbaker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stout to get the leverage.
Stout throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Stout is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Diefenbaker has managed to free his arm - good work.
Stout looks gassed!
The fighters are battling for position here. Diefenbaker manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Diefenbaker is pulling down on Stout's head. It's preventing any offense from Stout, at least for the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Diefenbaker pulls Stout in close to his closed guard and prevents Stout from doing any damage or advancing position.

Stout drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Diefenbaker dives on top into guard.
Stout is looking to sweep but instead, Diefenbaker has passed into half guard.

Stout is looking to improve his position.
Diefenbaker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee stands the fighters back up. John Diefenbaker just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Good exchange - Diefenbaker coming out on top.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Stout fails to land the takedown.
Diefenbaker lands with a nice body punch.
Diefenbaker lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


It looks like Edward Stout has been cut.
Diefenbaker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Stout scores with a takedown into Diefenbaker's guard.
Diefenbaker is controlling Stout's posture.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stout tries to free his leg and advance position but Diefenbaker is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Diefenbaker dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Edward Stout's cut.
That's time! Diefenbaker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Stout takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Diefenbaker cracks Stout with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Diefenbaker lands an overhand right.
Stout shoots in but Diefenbaker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stout is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Diefenbaker scores with a sloppy right hand. Stout should have avoided that one.
Stout tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Diefenbaker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stout. That did some damage!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stout slips a jab and a cross from Diefenbaker.
Stout misses with a body punch
enabling Diefenbaker to counter with a crisp jab.
Stout is breathing heavily.
Diefenbaker cracks Stout with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.


Stout is rocked!
Diefenbaker throws an overhand right that drops Stout like a sack of potatoes! Diefenbaker dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Diefenbaker!
