The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ochocinco misses with an uppercut. Pekhart saw that one coming.

Pekhart drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pekhart jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ochocinco is pulling down on Pekhart's head. It's preventing any offense from Pekhart, at least for the moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pekhart is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ochocinco's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ochocinco's back!
Pekhart tries to get the hooks in deep but Ochocinco pushed the leg off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ochocinco lands a vicious elbow to the side of Pekhart's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Ochocinco tries to finish him with strikes but Pekhart still seems able to defend himself so Ochocinco steps back and lets Pekhart get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Ochocinco engages and cracks Pekhart with a massive lead left hook - Pekhart tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Ochocinco is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
