Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slyker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Slyker looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Slyker tries a head kick but it misses.
Ballantine throws a nice looking combination but Slyker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ballantine ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slyker moves away.
Ballantine throws a right and a left that Slyker avoids nicely.
Ballantine doesn't manage to clinch there - Slyker circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Slyker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ballantine's half guard.

Ballantine regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Slyker.
Slyker tries to free his leg and advance position but Ballantine is retaining full guard.
Ballantine is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Slyker trying to control the position from guard on top but Ballantine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ballantine manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ballantine scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Slyker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ballantine misses the shot to the body.
A big left from Ballantine misses.
Slyker misses the jab.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Slyker wants to clinch.
Slyker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ballantine pinned against the cage. Ballantine gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slyker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ballantine.
Ballantine lands with a shot to the body.
Slyker scoring well with a low kick there.
Ballantine misses with a looping left.
Ballantine misses with a few strikes there.
Ballantine swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A nice combination there by Ballantine.
It looks like Cain Slyker has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ballantine slips under a jab from Slyker.
Slyker closes the distance but Ballantine moves to the side
and Ballantine cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ballantine takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ballantine misses with an uppercut. Slyker saw that one coming.
Slyker tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ballantine counters with a stiff right hand.
Slyker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ballantine moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Slyker throws a shot from downtown. Ballantine moves away and avoids it.
Slyker takes one on the chin but seems OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnie Ballantine dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Cain Slyker's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ballantine lands a nice shot that snaps Slyker's head back.
Ballantine displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slyker throws out the jab.
Slyker ducks under a wild hook from Ballantine.
Slyker wants to slow Ballantine down by chopping away at his legs.
Ballantine drops Slyker with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ballantine follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
