Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jafar Agrabah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tor Nansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nansen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Prodigy - Thunder. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jafar Agrabah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tor Nansen!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agrabah throws a big shot that misses.
Agrabah pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nansen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nansen is defended easily by Agrabah.
Nansen misses with a low kick.
Nansen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Agrabah.
Agrabah steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nansen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Agrabah stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Agrabah wants it to stay on the feet.
Nansen closes the distance and clinches up with Agrabah, looking for a takedown. Nansen pushes Agrabah against the cage but Agrabah circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jafar Agrabah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tor Nansen.
Good leg kick by Agrabah there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Agrabah holds on and takes a little breather.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nansen lands a heavy elbow.
Agrabah is trying desperately to improve position.

Nansen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Agrabah can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nansen wants to control the pace but Agrabah is squirming around nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Jafar Agrabah will probably get the nod.

Nansen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Agrabah circles away.

Agrabah fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nansen manages to avoid it.
Nansen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nansen tries to clinch up.
Agrabah ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Agrabah throws a hook to the side of Nansen's head but Nansen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nansen scores with a one two! Agrabah had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
A combination from Nansen does no damage.

Agrabah throws a front kick aimed at Nansen's knee but Nansen avoids it well.

and Agrabah counters with a good low kick that Nansen was not able to check.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nansen is looking to work some ground and pound but Agrabah has wrist control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Agrabah has his foot on Nansen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nansen works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Agrabah wants to sweep here but Nansen controlling him for the moment.
Nansen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Agrabah works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Agrabah is really struggling to control Nansen but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nansen wants to control from the top but Agrabah keeps moving.

Nansen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nansen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Agrabah is on top in guard.
Agrabah is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Nansen is pulling down on Agrabah's head. It's preventing any offense from Agrabah, at least for the moment.

Tor Nansen dominated that fourth round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nansen lands a shoulder strike.
Nansen has had enough of the clinch but Agrabah keeps him there for the moment.

Nansen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Agrabah is trying to defend but Nansen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
