Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kris Ericson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peppin Larter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ericson comes to the cage accompanied by Face the Pain- Stemme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kris Ericson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peppin Larter!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericson doesn't manage to clinch there - Larter circles away.
Larter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Ericson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Larter swivels and escapes.
Ericson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ericson tries to close the distance and clinch but Larter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Larter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ericson doesn't seem bothered though.

and Larter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Larter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ericson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Peppin Larter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well Larter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
