And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lars Fredrickson!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredrickson throws a nice outside leg kick.
An inside leg kick from Fredrickson misses.
Fredrickson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fredrickson misses with a hook to the body
and Fredrickson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fredrickson slips under a jab from Jack.
Jack looks to score with a jab to the body but Fredrickson is just out of range.
Jack on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Fredrickson shoots for a double leg takedown but Jack sprawls well. He's pushed Fredrickson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fredrickson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jack misses with a looping left.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fredrickson is defended easily by Jack.
Fredrickson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Lars Fredrickson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jack tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fredrickson was well out of range. Poor timing from Jack.

Jack throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jack connects with a nice looking jab.
Fredrickson misses with a low kick.
Jack misses the shot to the body.
Jack throws a body punch but Fredrickson moves out of range.
Jack throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fredrickson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jack slips under a jab from Fredrickson.
Jack throws a right hand that Fredrickson ducks under and follows up with a left that Fredrickson also avoids with ease.
Jack lands with a shot to the body.
Fredrickson has a takedown stuffed.
Calico Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lars Fredrickson.
Jack scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fredrickson in his tracks.
Jack stuffs the takedown attempt from Fredrickson. Fredrickson gets slowly back to his feet.
Fredrickson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jack scores with a counter punch that sends Fredrickson to the canvas! Jack smells blood - he's punishing Fredrickson with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Fredrickson has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
