The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dog ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Dog throws a looping overhand right but Strom ducks down to avoid it.
Strom avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dog keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A nice combination there by Dog.

It looks like Gunnar Strom has been cut.

Dog throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Strom.

and Strom counters with a three punch combo that has Dog backing up. Dog nods at Strom to acknowledge the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dog rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Strom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Strom takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Strom misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dog.
Dog moves out of range of the strikes.
Dog on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Dog clobbers Strom with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Strom lands with a hook. Dog tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Dog uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Strom.

and Strom counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Strom takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dog scores with a one two! Strom had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Gunnar Strom's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
