The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albright rushes Mann and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mann content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Mann tries to stall but Albright uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Albright jumps guard.
Mann drops back looking for a leg! Albright is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Albright manages to kick Mann off! Mann jumps back into Albright's guard.
Mann advances position into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
An elbow from Mann crashes against the mat.
Albright sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Albright is controlling Mann's trapped leg to prevent Mann from advancing to side control.
Mann is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mann is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Albright moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Albright is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Mann drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mann jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mann avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Mann wants to pass the guard but Albright is keeping the position.

Mann is looking to advance position but Albright has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Mann looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out!
