The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Muangsurin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Muangsurin throws a head kick but Devin moves out of range.

Muangsurin clinches with his opponent.
Muangsurin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Devin.

Devin manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Devin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Devin throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Devin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Muangsurin is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Devin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Muangsurin's guard.

Devin tries to free his leg and advance position but Muangsurin is retaining full guard.
Muangsurin wants to stand but Devin is controlling the position.
Devin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Muangsurin pulls Devin in close to his closed guard and prevents Devin from doing any damage or advancing position.
Devin wants to control from the top but Muangsurin keeps moving.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Muangsurin is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Devin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muangsurin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Devin won't allow Muangsurin to sweep him here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Devin tries to pull guard but Muangsurin won't allow it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Devin wants to clinch but Muangsurin slips to the side
and Muangsurin counters with a nice body kick.
