Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gomez Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craven Moorehead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moorehead has chosen Me So Horny - 2 Live Crew as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Moorehead looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gomez Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Adams is looking to clinch but Moorehead is avoiding it.

Moorehead shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Moorehead is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Adams is just riding it out for now. Moorehead eventually gives up the hold.

Moorehead wants to work for an arm triangle but Adams is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Adams closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Moorehead is not content to let Adams control the position.

Adams is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Moorehead is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Moorehead has escaped and now he's on top!

Adams had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moorehead defends it easily.
Adams is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Moorehead is working Adams over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Adams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Moorehead gets to his feet and stands over Adams, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Adams felt that one! Moorehead unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Adams from any more punishment!
