The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercurious takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Elkins tries a head kick but it misses.
Elkins tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mercurious is able to avoid easily.
Elkins throws a sloppy head kick and Mercurious moves out of range easily.
Mercurious misses with a series of wild punches.
Mercurious pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mercurious throws a jab but it's blocked by Elkins.
Elkins lands a head kick. Mercurious smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Mike Mercurious has been cut.
Whack! Elkins lands a heavy head kick that drops Mercurious. The ref tackles Elkins to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mercurious was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Dwight Elkins!
