Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keast Beasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alister The Demon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Demon has chosen Puritania as his entrance music. Alister The Demon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Keast Beasty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alister The Demon!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Demon throws a right and a left that Beasty avoids nicely.
Beasty throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and The Demon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. The Demon connects with a nice short shot to Beasty's temple.

The Demon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The Demon trying to control from half guard but Beasty is working away.
The Demon misses with a head shot. Beasty uses the momentum to regain guard.
The Demon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Beasty works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The Demon trying to control the position from guard on top but Beasty is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The Demon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The Demon scores with the left hand. Beasty knows he should have avoided that one.
Beasty rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Demon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A punch lands to the side of The Demon 's head but he takes it in his stride.

The Demon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Beasty, who protects the arm well.
The Demon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The Demon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Beasty knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The Demon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no The Demon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The Demon throwing strikes but Beasty manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Beasty tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Demon was well out of range. Poor timing from Beasty.

Beasty scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

The Demon is breathing heavily.

and The Demon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Beasty throws a series of punches but The Demon moves out of range.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as The Demon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Beasty avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Beasty wants to stand but The Demon is controlling the position.
Beasty keeping moving, preventing The Demon from controlling successfully.

The Demon goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Beasty has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for The Demon but great work by Beasty.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Demon tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The Demon gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The Demon wants to improve his position but Beasty is controlling well.
The Demon is looking to get back to full guard here but Beasty has managed to pass to side control instead.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The Demon is desperately trying to improve his position but Beasty has a good base and remains in mount.
Beasty avoids the attempt from The Demon to control.

Beasty prevents The Demon from improving his position.

Keast Beasty dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



The Demon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beasty is trying to defend but The Demon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Beasty gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows The Demon to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Beasty is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The Demon is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Beasty is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Beasty has escaped and now he's on top!
The Demon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Beasty won't allow The Demon to sweep him here.

Alister The Demon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think The Demon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
