Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Worcester Sauce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franky Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Worcester Sauce has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Worcester Sauce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franky Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauce slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sauce throws a nice outside leg kick.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sauce did well to prevent Johnson getting side control.
Sauce is trying to stand up here but Johnson is controlling him well.

Johnson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sauce trying to hold on to Johnson's head to control him but Johnson postures up.
Sauce has his hands clasped together around Johnson's back. He's all about the action.

Sauce has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johnson is working away from the top position though.

Sauce preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sauce trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Sauce wants to control but Johnson is having none of it.

Johnson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sauce is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sauce and Johnson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Johnson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sauce knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Sauce tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sauce wants to control but Johnson postures up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Johnson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Johnson is looking to take a break and control but Sauce is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Johnson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sauce kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Worcester Sauce will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sauce defends it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by Sauce.
Johnson looks for a takedown but Sauce sprawls well.
Worcester Sauce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franky Johnson.

Franky Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sauce throws a hook but Johnson avoids it easily.
Nice uppercut lands for Sauce. That snapped Johnson's head back.

Sauce lands a big head kick that sends Johnson tumbling to the mat! Sauce takes a step backwards and waves Johnson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Franky Johnson has been cut.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Sauce sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sauce throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johnson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sauce.
Johnson blocks a head kick by Sauce.
Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sauce defends it nicely.
Sauce dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Johnson. That did some damage!
Johnson is breathing heavily.

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sauce looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sauce wants to control but Johnson postures up.
Sauce is trying to buck Johnson off.
Johnson is looking to take a break and control but Sauce is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Johnson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sauce rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Johnson's guard! Nice work there by Sauce!

Sauce decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sauce throws a series of punches but Johnson moves out of range.
Sauce misses the shot to the body.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sauce but Sauce pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sauce lands a jab to the nose.
Sauce lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sauce pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johnson wants to clinch up but Sauce keeps it at a distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Johnson shoots for a takedown but Sauce saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Johnson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sauce throws out the jab.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sauce sprawls well. Sauce wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.
Johnson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sauce.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Franky Johnson's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Sauce, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Sauce against the cage but Sauce circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sauce defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson.
Johnson moves forwards but Sauce connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sauce scores with a crisp jab that stopped Johnson in his tracks.
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Sauce finish him?
Sauce lands a brutal head kick. Johnson looks out on his feet and Sauce throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Worcester Sauce!
